Together with my strong partner BMW and in this case “BMW Golfsport” and “BMW USA” we were able to complete a very exciting project. We developed a special case for the Rydercup, with which I could transport the original Rydercup trophy during a wingsuit flight and hand it over at the opening ceremony.

The 43rd Ryder Cup took place at the “Whistling Straits” golf course in Kohler, Wisconsin, USA.

I am so happy and proud to show you all what we have been working on over the past 3 years. Together with BMWi we developed an electric engine to boost the performance of wingsuits to fly in a better constant glide, pick up speed, and gain altitude in flight, utilizing BMW i’s knowledge, resources and experience of electric mobility and battery technology.

On November 2nd, 2020 the “Bergwelten” episode „Die Marmolada- Königin der Dolomiten“ was broadcast for the first time on SERVUS TV. I was allowed to work as a protagonist and wingsuit pilot, as well as a double in the documentation. For those who missed it, here is the link to the media library: https://www.servustv.com/videos/aa-21j3wup9d2112/

After 3 years I returned to South Africa this year. In 2017, the focus was on coastal soaring and hours of paragliding on the coast of Wilderness. This year wingsuit flying. Together with the Australian I jumped from 7 different jump points in and around Cape Town. The ascents to the jumps lasted from 5 minutes to 5 hours. Here are a few photos and a short video.

At the end of January I was in Dubai for 10 days. I trained for a project with the Australian Scott Paterson and the Swiss Michael Schwery. But it was also time to relax and a wingsuit base jump in the “Al-Hajar Mountains” went out aswell.

July was a very intense time, with many jumps, training and preparations for upcoming projects.
I spent a lot of time in the Dolomites, in the area of Sass Pordoi. Here are a few photos of the Australian Scott Paterson and a video of the stunning “Straight Line”.

In the new magazine “Bock auf Pinzgau”, which is stored in the tourism associations in Pinzgau, in the province of Salzburg/Austria, six pages of reports about my fascination of flying, as well as the background of my work and my hobbies were published.

In late April 2019, an extreme sports event with international athletes took place in Saudi Arabia. I was booked as a wingsuit pilot to fly with other skydivers and base jumpers over the landscape of Saudi Arabia. Here are a few impressions (video + photos) :

The long journey to the other side of the world has definitely paid off for me. I was able to do a lot of parachute jumps there and to prepare for the upcoming season and upcoming projects in the best possible way. I spent 2 weeks in Moruya, about 4 hours south of Sydney, and a week in western Australia (Perth, Albany). Many thanks to Scott Paterson and Sam Hardy for the great  photos.

On 24.7.2018 the ORF premiere of the SOKO Kitzbühel episode 223 – “Invisible” took place at 20:15. I shot the Wingsuit scenes in fall of 2017 and was there on the set to look after the actors in the wingsuit – specific scenes.
